Summary
The Senior Software Engineering Lead plays a crucial role in developing, debugging, testing, deploying, and supporting software for various applications across systems and products. You will engage in writing, debugging, maintaining, and testing software in a variety of common languages, ensuring adherence to established development processes and product life cycle stages.
This position works closely with cross-functional teams—designers, customers, manufacturing engineers, and project leaders—to promote robust product development. We value your insights to enhance designs through collaborative feedback in areas such as manufacturing, testing, supply chain logistics, reliability, and industrial design.
Detailed Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of technical solutions across diverse domains. Engage in project planning and scheduling.
- Provide technical direction and leadership to a team of engineers, becoming a trusted expert in key areas.
- Review and interpret customer requirements and specifications, offering constructive feedback.
- Facilitate the deployment of strategic programs while coordinating deployment efforts across sites.
- Advocate for industry best practices in software development.
- Manage relationships with key vendors and partners as needed.
- Analyze design, develop tests, and create test automation suites for software applications.
- Design a processing platform utilizing configuration management technologies.
- Utilize software development methodologies, with potential engagement in agile frameworks.
- Provide continuous maintenance, support, and enhancement of existing systems and platforms.
- Collaborate with customers and project managers to produce elegant solutions through peer reviews.
- Contribute recommendations for ongoing improvements in processes and methods.
- Work alongside fellow engineers to elevate technology standards and consistently apply best practices.
