Detailed Description
Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:
- Lead the development and release of end-to-end manufacturing processes for new customer products.
- Understand and implement the customer's technical roadmap, aligning internal capabilities accordingly.
- Provide technical leadership and feedback on customer specifications and future needs.
- Implement DFX strategies and tools to drive cost reduction, quality improvement, and manufacturability.
- Plan and conduct advanced process capability studies using Design of Experiments (DOE).
- Define process controls and data collection methodologies, and analyze large datasets to diagnose yield and reliability issues.
- Communicate critical technical and business issues to executive and operational leadership.
- NPI-PCBA, SMT, PTH, Press Fit, Board-level Mechanical Assembly, Tooling Design, Data Analytics
- Structural Test & Inspection Processes (AOI, AXI, Functional Test)
- Optical Component Assembly, Wire Harnessing, Fiber Splicing
- Engineering Control & System Tools (ODC/SCE)
- DFM, DFA, DFR, KPI Analysis, IPC-610
- Previous experience with liquid cooling for L11 racks
- Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment.
- Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data.
- Repetitive manual movements (e.g., data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.) are frequently required.
- Occasional travel may be required.
- 4 to 6 years in a similar role or industry.
