Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Storage and Server Systems Architect to define and lead the next generation architecture of our Storage and Server systems. In this role, you will spearhead new technology research, analyze market trends, and collaborate closely with our customers. You will guide Celestica's design team in the Storage / Server domain. While the focus is primarily on hardware, interaction with software, firmware, mechanical, thermal, layout, signal integrity, and testing teams is essential to ensure a cohesive system architecture. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of server design, JBODs, storage controllers, and subsystems, along with experience in Enterprise-class systems and Cloud infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Define complex Server / Storage / Converged platform solutions and lead a multidisciplinary team through implementation, focusing on delivering high-quality design metrics.
- Develop and maintain strong technical relationships with suppliers and partners regarding product roadmaps and technologies.
- Lead technical response teams to RFQs, demonstrating comprehensive technical expertise.
- Prepare key deliverables such as System Specifications, Marketing Requirement Documents (MRD), and Product Requirements Documents (PRD).
- Act as the primary technical liaison between Celestica and our valued customers.
- Provide impactful technical support to business development teams in pursuit of new business opportunities.
- Contribute to the selection and recruitment of design team members as necessary.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and champion these efforts.
- Engage with standards committees and industry groups as assigned.
- Develop and deliver compelling technical presentations to customers, industry groups, and tradeshows.
- Stay informed on industry trends and emerging technologies to identify potential market opportunities.
- Other related duties as assigned.

Experience Requirements
Minimum of 12 years of experience in server / storage hardware design.
Minimum of 5 years of experience at the system level in server / storage.

Salary Range
Compensation for this role is between $166,000 and $220,000 USD per year.
This salary range is an estimate by the Company and may change based on various factors, including changes in job responsibilities or the qualifications, experience, or location of the selected candidate.
