Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Laundry professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in guest rooms and common areas, as well as managing laundry services including washing, drying, and folding linens and garments. The ideal candidate will have experience in a hotel environment or similar setting, demonstrating a commitment to providing exceptional service.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas to ensure a welcoming environment.
- Launder linens, towels, and staff uniforms using appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment.
- Perform dry cleaning services as needed, ensuring garments are treated with care.
- Inspect rooms after cleaning to ensure quality standards are met before guests check in.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when reordering is necessary.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Requirements
- Previous experience in housekeeping or laundry services, preferably in a hotel setting.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to clean efficiently and thoroughly.
- Knowledge of laundry techniques including washing, drying, ironing, and folding items properly.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks within designated timeframes.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $10.75 - $11.00 per hour
