Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality resident care in various settings, including care, hospital medicine, and community health. The LPN will work under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians, assisting in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of resident care plans. This role requires strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional resident care.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Monitor resident vital signs and report any changes to the supervising nurse or physician.
- Assist in the development and implementation of individualized care plans.
- Conduct basic life support measures as needed..
- Offer education and support to patients and families regarding care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Participate in occupational health assessments as required.
Experience
- Previous experience in home care or hospital settings is preferred.
- Knowledge of anatomy and basic life support techniques is essential.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team are required.
