Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Classroom Assistants to support our educators in providing a nurturing and effective learning environment for students. Classroom Assistants will play a vital role in enhancing the educational experience by assisting with daily classroom activities, implementing curriculum, and ensuring a safe and engaging atmosphere for all students.
Duties
- Assist teachers in preparing lesson plans and instructional materials.
- Support classroom management by maintaining a positive learning environment.
- Help implement curriculum development initiatives tailored to individual student needs.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students in subjects such as math and literacy education.
- Engage with children during activities, promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers regarding student performance.
- Assist with special education needs, ensuring inclusivity for all learners.
- Foster a nurturing atmosphere that encourages curiosity, creativity, and exploration.
- Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities.
Experience
Candidates should possess experience or knowledge in the following areas:
- Classroom management techniques to maintain an organized learning space.
- Curriculum development strategies that align with educational standards.
- Understanding of childhood development principles, particularly in early education settings.
- Familiarity with Montessori methods or private school environments is advantageous.
- Experience in childcare settings or toddler care is preferred.
