JOB OVERVIEW
The Manager of Enterprise Applications will perform a range of managerial, planning, and technical tasks, holding overall responsibility for delivering technology solutions across the organization. This position requires strong communication, planning, and technical skills while collaborating directly with all levels of the business, including leadership, management, team leads, system users, and external vendors. The Manager will oversee the scope, requirements, prioritization, and ongoing maintenance and operations of technology solutions that are essential for Commercial, Medical Affairs, G&A, and other functions based on business priorities. This role will engage with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for process optimization, unmet needs, and system features that can positively impact the organization. Efforts include assessing critical business needs, evaluating, designing, and implementing new or streamlined business processes to support the organization. The role will manage both local and remote project and operations resources.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Build and nurture partnerships with biotech companies, acting as a trusted advisor to support their growth from early drug discovery through clinical trials and commercialization.
- Drive successful project outcomes by aligning technology solutions with the unique needs of biotech organizations in regulated environments.
- Develop and communicate tailored strategies to clients, enabling them to navigate critical transitions such as scaling operations and preparing for market launch.
- Collaborate with clients to identify process inefficiencies, design optimized workflows, and implement compliant, scalable enterprise solutions to support evolving organizational needs.
- Gather and translate client feedback, problem statements, and technical requirements into actionable strategies for development teams, ensuring alignment with biotech-specific objectives.
- Lead the design and implementation of digital platforms and tools to streamline clinical trial management, regulatory compliance, and data governance.
- Coordinate system changes, manage change requests, and adhere to best practices for the software development lifecycle, ensuring solutions meet the high standards required in biotech.
- Provide expertise in designing and scaling medical affairs programs, including systems for medical information management, field team operations, and scientific communication.
- Develop data-driven tools, such as CRM platforms and analytics dashboards, to enhance decision-making for clinical development, market access, and commercialization.
- Guide client teams on preparing for the commercialization phase by implementing robust systems for marketing, sales operations, and post-market surveillance.
- Act as a key communicator between internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration and timely delivery of technology solutions.
- Proactively identify and resolve issues to ensure continuous improvement and alignment with biotech industry standards and regulatory requirements.
