Repair Technician/Sales Associate

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Consumer Electronics Repair Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and servicing a variety of consumer electronics, including smartphones, laptops, tablets, home appliances, gaming consoles, and other electronic devices. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electronics, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality service to customers.

Duties

• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with consumer electronics devices.
• Perform repairs and replacements on damaged or malfunctioning components (screens, batteries, motherboards, etc.).
• Conduct thorough testing of repaired devices to ensure functionality and quality.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and labor hours.
• Provide customers with repair updates, recommendations, and explanations of issues.
• Ensure that work is performed according to industry standards and safety guidelines.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest repair techniques, tools, and technologies.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring proper handling of electronic components.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist with customer inquiries regarding device functionality and repair status.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in electronics or a related field preferred.
• Strong understanding of electrical and electronic systems.
• Proficient in using repair tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Ability to work with precision and attention to detail.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
