The role
Work hours for this F&A position is Monday - Friday, 8am - 4pm. The Filling & Assembly Specialist I functions as a member of our Global Supply Chain team to support the discrete manufacturing of our products. Specifically, the Packaging team is responsible for filling and assembly of final products to ensure finished goods inventory is ready and available for customers.
Responsibilities
- Precision aliquoting and filling of antibody products utilizing liquid handling techniques with strict adherence to SOPs to ensure product quality
- Labeling of vials and preparation of packaging for component assembly, adhering to strict quality control guidelines to ensure labeling and packaging meets compliance requirements and standards
- Inspecting and packaging product components with manual and/or automated systems to create final products for order fulfillment
- Set-up, change-over and operation of labeling, pumping and packaging equipment
- Data entry and updating to enable accurate inventory records
- Consistent compliance with regulatory requirements, good manufacturing practices and standard operating procedures
- Setting up and maintaining inventory systems for packaging supplies to enable timely and adequate levels of replenishment
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum of one year of work experience
- Strong computer skills, including experience with Google
- Excellent communication skills • Strong team player
- Ability to follow detailed directions
- Strong organizational skills
- Able to lift 50lbs and stand on feet for extended periods of time
- Strong computer skills including Google Office suite including Gmail, calendar, sheets
- Being able to operate daily in a fast paced work environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Associates degree preferred
- Previous discrete manufacturing experience a plus (e.g. filling, labeling, assembly, etc.)
- Previous experience with tracking and replenishing inventory preferred
- Previous experience utilizing an electronic inventory system or enterprise resource planning tool ideal
- Previous laboratory experience a plus
- Knowledge of the Metric System a plus
- Willingness to learn and apply new techniques and processes in the spirit of continuous improvement and enhanced efficiency/effectiveness
