Copy Manager (Hybrid)

Compensation Range: $55 - 63 per hour

Cella is looking for a dynamic and experienced Copy Manager to join our client's team in Los Angeles!

As a Copy Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the copywriting process within our client's organization. You will lead a team of copywriters, ensuring that all copy produced is of high quality, aligns with brand standards, and effectively communicates key messages to target audiences. You will collaborate closely with various departments such as marketing, design, and product development to ensure that all copy meets strategic objectives and supports overall business goals.

Responsibilities:

• Write content with the customer in mind, covering a range of topics and assets, with an omnichannel focus.
• Oversee the growth and development of copywriters within your team by editing, assigning work, and providing feedback when applicable.
• Contribute to the development of the creative messaging strategy by keeping up with industry trends, best practices, and the competitive landscape, and collaborating with creative leadership, business owners, and other cross-functional stakeholders to translate business objectives into actionable marketing messages.
• Help maintain style guides by ensuring consistency and quality across assets.
• Contribute to shaping and evolving the tone of voice and personality of the brand.
• Oversee activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, communicating goals and objectives, building accountability, measuring progress, demonstrating adaptability, and promoting continuous learning and improvement.
• Ensure all internal and agency partner output is in line with overall brand strategy, brand voice, and campaign objectives.

• 2-4 years of experience managing copywriters.
• Agency and retail experience required.
