DIGITAL DESIGNER

Location: Malvern, PA (onsite Tues/Weds/Thurs)
Job Type: W2 hourly contract, 6-months to start
Compensation Range: $35-45/hr

On behalf of our financial services client, we are seeking a strategic and imaginative Digital Designer to support the Global Talent Acquisition Team. With a focus on brand development, digital collateral, and recruitment marketing, this role requires someone with an eye for design strategy-someone who can not only execute but also bring fresh, research-driven ideas to the table.

The ideal candidate has experience launching and evolving a brand, designing a range of materials such as brochures, PowerPoint presentations, and digital assets. They will collaborate closely with stakeholders across the Talent Brand and Recruitment Marketing team, the broader design community, and various communications teams, with a significant portion of work supporting Emerging Talent and Diversity Talent initiatives.

We're looking for someone with diverse design skills from illustration to animation, a passion for storytelling through design, and the ability to balance speed and accuracy. This is a highly collaborative role with weekly design chats and bi-weekly team meetings, requiring positive energy, consideration for others, and an enthusiasm for producing high-quality, strategic work.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute strategic, brand-aligned designs for various corporate and marketing materials.
• Collaborate with creative, business, and marketing teams to ensure design consistency and effectiveness.
• Present concepts, execute creative decisions, and coordinate with external vendors as needed (e.g., photographers, printers).
• Utilize advanced knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and digital pre-press tools to produce files for electronic and print output.
• Ensure design consistency across projects and educate teams on brand standards.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and budget requirements with accuracy.
• Maintain organized project files and adhere to departmental archiving procedures.
• Troubleshoot technical design and production issues.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging design trends.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree (BA, BFA) in Graphic Design or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years of experience in a design studio, agency, or corporate communications environment.
• Expertise in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop (Mac).
• Expertise in graphic design, animation, and illustration.
• Knowledge of web design fundamentals (HTML, UX).
• Experience with brand development and launch preferred.
• Organizational and project management skills.
• Ability to take direction, multitask, and meet deadlines.
