Candidates should have a minimum of 10-15 years in a Senior-level Product Development role, particularly within CPG. Experience should span full product lifecycles, with comfort working in a fast paced & high growth environment.
This role does sit onsite in the company's Long Island office, so candidates must be able to be in-office 4 days/week (Nassau County).

Responsibilities:
- Lead the product development strategy to align with company goals.
- Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to launch.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution.
- Drive innovation by identifying market trends and consumer needs.
- Manage and optimize the NPD budget to achieve financial objectives.
- Create products that deliver with competitive defensibility based on brand, functional superiority, IP (where possible), and design.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and partners.
- 15 years of product development in CPG.
- Experience driving growth in low-middle market companies (ideally from $20M to $100M).
- Deep understanding of the pet category.
- Experience with a category-defining, consumer products company.
- Successful track-record of managing an NPD budget to deliver the company's top- and bottom -line objectives for innovation.
- Natural ability to generate insights born at the confluence of data analytics and intuitive vision.
- Established network of experts who can enhance and expand capabilities.
- Experience developing products that go to market across omni-channel distribution.
- An established network of proven, best-in-class, commercial partners at every stage of supply chain and production.
- Proven ability to work with R&D to unlock the full potential of ingredient technologies.
- Expertise leading teams to unlock their full potential.
