Compensation Range: $75-$85/hr W2
We're seeking a Lead Product Designer for a one-year contract (with strong potential to extend) to join a growing team focused on building AI-powered financial tools. This role blends UX strategy, design leadership, and product innovation to define and design a new product family from the ground up.
This is a hybrid role based in Malvern, PA (Tues-Thurs onsite). Must be authorized to work on a W2 basis. All four required deliverables must be submitted to be considered.
Responsibilities:
- Lead discovery and design strategy for AI-driven tools supporting financial advisors.
- Define problem spaces and shape product vision in a highly ambiguous, evolving environment.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, strategy, and engineering teams.
- Design user-centered solutions with wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity visuals.
- Present and advocate design decisions to senior stakeholders.
- Use data and research to iterate and improve UX.
Qualifications:
- 5 years in UX/product design with a strategic lens.
- Experience working in ambiguous environments and shaping new product lines.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Familiarity or hands-on experience with AI applications in digital products.
- Portfolio showcasing end-to-end design process and business impact.
- Financial or enterprise tech experience is a plus.
