This role involves overseeing high-quality, on-time print production for direct mail campaigns and contributing to impactful marketing creative. The ideal candidate will excel in both tactical execution and strategic thinking, with strong attention to detail and experience working with diverse products and clients.Responsibilities : Direct Print Production Specialist
Campaign Planning & Execution : Manage print production planning and execution across various clients and products to ensure timely, high-quality campaign delivery.
Timeline Management : Monitor, update, and adjust campaign timelines to align with service-level agreements (SLAs) and campaign targets.
Internal Collaboration : Actively contribute to production and creative meetings alongside program managers and the Director of Direct Marketing Production & Creative.
External Coordination : Participate in client and supplier status meetings to provide updates and gather input on campaign progress.
Production Specifications : Gather and confirm accurate print production specifications, ensuring clear communication to suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Content & Quality Control : Review creative and production audits for accuracy in content, data, specifications, and branding. Coordinate client reviews with internal program managers to ensure compliance.
Cost Estimation : Assist in estimating costs for print production, postage, and creative services, ensuring accurate financial planning for each campaign.
Invoice & Cost Reconciliation : Review supplier invoices and compare actual costs to estimates, providing insights to refine future campaign budgets.
Press Checks : Attend onsite and virtual press checks to oversee quality control during the production process.
Postal Program Management : Set up and manage campaigns for USPS postal discount programs, monitor mail delivery schedules, and audit drop reports and postal receipts.
RFP & Bid Management : Support annual print production RFPs and ad-hoc bids for new formats to ensure cost-effective vendor partnerships.
Creative Development Support : Collaborate with designers as needed to develop engaging copy and designs that align with client branding and drive campaign goals.
Industry Awareness : Stay informed on industry trends and best practices in direct mail marketing, applying innovative strategies to enhance campaign effectiveness.
Additional Responsibilities : Perform other related tasks and responsibilities as assigned to support overall campaign success.
Preferred Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (preferred).
Experience with design software, print production processes, and materials is an added advantage.
Demonstrated project management expertise, capable of managing multiple campaigns and balancing diverse responsibilities effectively.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Google Sheets, Adobe Acrobat, and Outlook.
Meticulous attention to detail and strong proofreading abilities for auditing complex creative and production deliverables.
Familiarity with direct mail marketing strategies and best practices.
Proven ability to excel in high-pressure, deadline-driven environments.
Approachable and collaborative personality with a solid track record of building and maintaining effective professional relationships.
Skills :
