Location : Westlake Village, CaliforniaJob Type : ContractCompensation Rate : $28 per hourWe are seeking a skilled and creative Marketing Content Specialist to join our client's team on a contract basis! In this role, you will be responsible for crafting and refining compelling marketing content that aligns with the company's goals. You will create content for various platforms, including paid ads, press releases, executive bios, blogs, social media posts, and more.
Additionally, you will assist with strategy development, content curation, and scheduling posts across social media channels such as Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn. This role is expected to be onsite five days a week, Monday through Friday, in Westlake Village, CA.
Responsibilities :
Complete writing projects that meet deadlines and adhere to brand style and project guidelines.
Draft press releases using AP Style, executive bios, award submissions, and PR communication materials.
Write copy for emails, paid and organic social media ads, maintaining a consistent branded tone of voice.
Monitor social media channels, responding to inquiries, reviews, comments, likes, mentions, etc., within an hour to maintain timely engagement.
Engage with key target audiences to nurture online communities and increase brand presence.
Collaborate with external vendors to ensure brand accuracy and content flow.
Edit and proofread content for voice, grammar, and style consistency, adhering to the company's marketing style guide.
Work cross-functionally with internal teams to understand business objectives and communicate effectively with customers.
Ensure marketing efforts align with immediate and long-term business goals, identifying and implementing improvements in content, processes, and lead generation strategies.
Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
3 years of experience in copywriting, editing, social media marketing, community management; PR agency experience is a plus.
Passionate about digital marketing and social media trends.
Strong communication, presentation, writing, and editing skills with a solid understanding of AP Style.
