Medical Editor Part-Time (Remote)

Location: Kenilworth, New Jersey

Compensation Range: $40 - 44 per hour

We are excited to offer a part-time opportunity for a Sr. Medical Editor with experience in Medical Communications to join a leading pharmaceutical client's remote MedComms team. This 20-hour/week freelance role requires ELS (Editor Life Sciences) certification from BELS. You'll be part of an award-winning, innovative in-house agency that produces a variety of digital, video, and print assets. This is a fully remote position, perfect for a certified expert looking to contribute to high-quality scientific content.

Responsibilities:

• Copyedit materials for grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
• Fact check content against source material.
• Collaborate with copywriters and other team members.
• Prepare jobs for internal review using Veeva Vault MedComms.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in related field (eg English, journalism, life sciences)
• Minimum 5 years' experience editing and fact checking pharmaceutical, medical, and/or scientific materials, preferably within an agency environment
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Previous experience editing MedComms materials
• Experience with Workfront preferred
• Must have ELS (Editor Life Sciences) Certification
