Compensation Range: $35 - 38 per hour
Our client has an immediate opening for a Packaging Designer on a contract basis. The Packaging Designer is responsible for the design and production of consumer goods products, labels and other materials. This position is a full-time open-ended contract onsite in Atlanta.
Responsibilities:
Essential Functions:
- Design, layout, and detail of Diablo Tools packaging using Adobe Creative Suite.
- Review product design for quality, customer requirements, and specifications.
- Make internal and customer driven changes to previously released racks.
- Communicate daily with team members to ensure projects are on schedule.
- Support the sales department by creating packaging concepts for proposals.
Qualifications:
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- 2 years working as a packaging designer.
- Creative and technical background including design, material handling and packaging.
- Ability to work in a team environment and onsite.
