Join a global technology leader driving innovation in the U.S. energy and utilities market. Our client is seeking a strategic Product Marketing Manager to help shape the future of smart grid technologies, leading go-to-market efforts for cutting-edge products that enable cleaner, more efficient energy use.This is a net-new team being launched to focus on US growth.
This is a full-time role and does require candidate to be local to the Raleigh, RTP Triangle area.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute product marketing plans aligned with business growth targets.
- Act as a thought leader in the energy and utility sector, identifying market trends and translating insights into product strategies.
- Conduct market analysis to understand customer needs, competitive landscapes, and future market requirements.
- Define product offerings and unique selling propositions (USPs) for the U.S. market.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Management, Sales, R&D, Marketing, Finance, and Operations teams globally.
- Build business cases in partnership with Product Managers to support new product development and launches.
- Translate customer problems into solution-driven product ideas and anticipate future requirements.
- Plan and execute product launch campaigns, ensuring alignment with commercial and marketing strategies.
- Support sales teams with go-to-market strategies, positioning materials, and training to drive revenue growth.
- Manage products through the entire lifecycle, from ideation to end-of-life, ensuring continued value delivery.
- Engage with industry stakeholders, including technology providers, mobile operators, and regulatory bodies.
- Promote energy efficiency and clean energy initiatives through innovative product solutions.
Qualifications:
- Must have industry experience from the ENERGY vertical.
- 5-10 years of experience in sales, marketing, or product marketing, ideally within the energy, utilities, or technology sectors.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, sales, or a related discipline (advanced degree a plus).
- Strong strategic thinking, market analysis, and communication skills with a proven track record of driving product success.
- Action-oriented, customer-focused, and comfortable collaborating with global cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be local to the Raleigh/RTP Triangle, NC area.
