This team is looking for a Sr. Director Category Merchandiser with experience in retail or global merchandising. This role will assist with driving the vision for women's footwear. This is a temporary contract position that requires the talent to be onsite in Boston, MA 3 days per week (no flexibility on this).

Responsibilities:
- The nature of the work is focused on consumer insights, assortment planning, Go to Market, and product management activities.
- Acts as an expert in building Consumer Right Assortments for assigned category & location.
- Briefs the product engine on the needs of the consumer for both the category/geography and upcoming trends.
- May work across the product engines to ensure that product is being created with the retail end in mind.
- Edits the product line for assigned location and category using both directed assortment and selecting the line outside of the global core product with a goal of meeting revenue targets.
- Builds directed assortments that supports category vision, working with geographies with retail end in mind
- 10 YOE with a retail or merchandising background at a buyer or director level.
- Driving points of view.
- Experience with assortment and product line plan software.
- Experience working with highly cross functional teams.
- Experience with global merchandising
- An apparel and footwear background
