Technical Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A PhD or post-graduate experience in biological/biomedical engineering, biophysics, computational biology, systems biology, or a related interdisciplinary field.
- 5 years of experience with human pluripotent stem cell (hPSC) culture and differentiation protocols.
- Experience with contemporary gene editing techniques in mammalian cells, including relevant molecular biology/cloning techniques, PCR, CRISPR/TALENs, as well as viral & non-viral delivery methods.
- Strong data analysis and coding skills (Python), with the ability to extract insights from complex biological datasets.
- Strong experiment planning & communication skills, with ability to convey technical concepts effectively to team members with diverse technical backgrounds.
Educational Background
We require a strong educational background in biological/biomedical engineering, biophysics, computational biology, systems biology, or a related interdisciplinary field. A Master's degree may be considered if you have significant industry experience.
