Job Description
Summary / Objective : You will manage the receipt, documentation, and tracking of goods while collaborating with the Inventory Manager to address issues or status updates on merchandise. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities is essential. Compensation starts at $17-$18 per hour, depending on experience.
Essential Functions :
- Support the Inventory Supervisor.
- Inspect contents against records, like manifests or invoices, to verify shipment accuracy.
- Cross-check merchandise invoices with received items to confirm shipment correctness.
- Record shipment details, including weight, charges, and discrepancies for reporting purposes.
- Select appropriate shipping methods based on knowledge of procedures and rates.
- Distribute materials to relevant departments.
- Prepare materials for shipping by packing, sealing, labeling, and affixing postage.
- Resolve issues such as damages or shortages by communicating with relevant personnel.
- Order and store shipping materials and supplies.
- Calculate shipping and storage amounts.
- Maintain optimal stock levels in stores.
- Understand vendor warranty and returns policies.
- Rotate and date products appropriately.
- Keep the inventory closet clean and organized.
- Conduct physical inventory checks of the inventory closet.
- Relocate inventory as needed within the market.
- Assist with the return authorization process.

Work Environment : This role takes place in a retail environment.
Physical Demands :
Candidates must be able to lift materials up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods, as this position is physically active.
Position Type / Expected Hours of Work : This is a full-time role, typically Monday through Friday from 8 : 30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Availability for nights and weekends may be required during special device launches.
Travel : Minimal travel of 1-10% may be necessary.
