JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary/Objective
As a Junior Database Administrator at Cellular Sales, you'll play a key role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of our database systems. You will address production support tickets, perform maintenance tasks, and contribute to troubleshooting efforts. Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess database performance: Conduct routine evaluations to ensure optimal functionality and identify areas for improvement.
- Perform routine maintenance: Maintain database indexes and statistics to improve system efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database errors: Analyze issues, determine root causes, and implement solutions to minimize disruptions.
- Safeguard database infrastructure: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to protect data integrity and security.
- Support automation initiatives: Develop and implement automation scripts using tools like PowerShell to streamline database processes.
- Provide on-call support: Be available as needed to ensure the seamless operation of database systems
