Position Summary
The Customer Support and Marketing Specialist at Cellular Tracking Technologies (CTT) will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring exceptional service and acting as the bridge between customers and internal teams, including manufacturing, hardware, and cloud services.
This role combines customer support excellence with creative contributions to marketing initiatives. The specialist will also represent CTT at industry events, conferences, and trade shows, providing an opportunity to engage directly with the wildlife telemetry and IoT community.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Support:
- Serve as the primary liaison for customer inquiries, providing timely and accurate resolutions.
- Assist customers with product onboarding, technical troubleshooting, and general support.
- Collaborate with internal teams to address customer issues, ensuring clear communication and follow-up.
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions in the CRM system.
- Proactively gather customer feedback and share insights with relevant teams to improve products and services.
Sales Support:
- Assist with processing orders, preparing quotes, and managing customer accounts.
- Provide customers with product recommendations based on their specific needs.
- Support sales initiatives by identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
Marketing Contributions:
- Collaborate on creative marketing projects, such as designing promotional materials, writing blog posts, and developing social media content.
- Contribute ideas for marketing campaigns that enhance customer engagement and brand visibility.
- Assist with the planning and execution of webinars and other customer-focused events.
Event Representation:
- Represent CTT at trade shows, conferences, and other industry events, including tabling and product demonstrations.
- Engage with attendees to build relationships, answer questions, and promote CTT’s solutions.
- Assist in the logistics and setup of marketing materials for events.
Internal Collaboration:
- Act as the primary conduit between customers and internal teams (manufacturing, hardware, and cloud) to ensure customer requirements are understood and met.
- Work with the product development team to relay customer feedback and inform feature enhancements.
Qualifications and Skills:Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience:
- 2 years in a customer support, sales, or marketing role, preferably in a technology or wildlife-related field.
- Experience with CRM systems and ticketing tools is a plus.
