Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team in a fine dining environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, managing inventory, and providing excellent service in a fast-paced restaurant atmosphere.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Engage with guests to create a welcoming atmosphere, taking drink orders and providing recommendations based on preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Assist in managing inventory levels, including ordering supplies as needed while adhering to food safety standards.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction.
- Stay informed about current drink trends, menu changes, and promotions to enhance sales opportunities.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Bartender in a fine dining or upscale restaurant setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous.
- Strong math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations are essential.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is required.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- A background in hospitality or sales will be considered a plus.
