What You’ll Do:- Lead and support the maintenance team, ensuring efficient daily operations.
- Oversee and perform maintenance tasks, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repairs.
- Ensure all work orders and unit turns are completed promptly and to company standards.
- Meet and exceed team goals for unit turns, ensuring efficiency and quality.
- Manage and monitor the preventative maintenance program for all mechanical systems and equipment.
- Conduct property inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Maintain vendor relationships and oversee contract work as needed.
- Assist with capital projects, renovations, and budgeting for maintenance expenses.
- Provide ongoing training and mentorship for maintenance staff.
- Respond to emergency maintenance needs as required.
- 1-3 years of experience in maintenance supervision within multifamily housing.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair.
- EPA certification required; additional trade certifications are a plus.
- Ability to manage and train maintenance staff while maintaining a positive team environment.
- Proficiency in maintenance software and Microsoft Office.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
