Inside Sales/Project Manager

Job Summary
Cem-Tec is a family-owned company established in 1974 that designs and produces steel infrastructure for lighting, transportation, and wireless industries. Our products are customized to meet the specific needs of each customer, and we strive to exceed their expectations. In 2002, we expanded our business to include a full-scale powder coating facility.

The ideal Project Sales Manager candidate is a highly motivated individual with a willingness to take on new tasks and responsibilities. You must demonstrate the ability to work independently and to take initiative, communicate effectively and apply organizational skills. You will also have a proven record of problem solving and creativity.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of a project, from start to finish, so that it is completed on time and within budget
• Recommend products and services that fit well with clients' business needs
• Collect information from customers to support sales, manufacturing and shipping functions.
• Read and understand City and Municipal plans.
• Create and modify .pdf drawings of site and street light poles.
• Write up work orders and quotes.
• Provide excellent communication, internally and externally, acting as a liaison between customer and company during quotation and production process.
• Calculating figures such as dimensions, percentages, weights and lead times.

Qualifications:

• Project Management Experience Preferred but not required
• Bachelors Degree or 1-2 years equivalent work experience preferred but not required
• Experience in design or CAD preferred
• Ability to read and understand drawings.
• Ability to multi-task and pay attention to details/deadlines while keeping customers, vendors and team members informed.
• Ability to learn and apply product specific technical information as it pertains to the position.
• Ability to anticipate customer needs and offer solutions.
• Excellent verbal, written and telephone skills needed; Computer literacy and excellent MS Office application required.
• Organization skills for proper customer planning and project management is vital.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
