Carpenter Apprentice/Laborer

Job Summary
We are a home building company focused on new contruction. We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Carpenter Apprentice to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the carpentry field while working under the guidance of skilled professionals. The Carpenter Apprentice will assist in various carpentry tasks, including fabrication, assembly, and installation, while developing essential skills in construction and repair.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the fabrication and assembly of wooden structures and frameworks.
• Support experienced carpenters in door hanging, drywall installation, and frame carpentry tasks.
• Maintain a clean and organized jobsite.
• Moving materials.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while on the job site.

Qualifications

• A strong interest in carpentry or construction trades is preferred.
• Basic maintenance person skills or prior experience in related fields is a plus.
• Willingness to learn new techniques and take direction from experienced carpenters.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods.
• A commitment to safety practices on job sites.

*1099 position, Driver's license Required and Basic handtools

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
