PURPOSE OF POSITION

Assist with the onboarding of new customers by providing training and assistance as they become proficient with our software products. Evaluate and analyze our applications and customer business processes to improve efficiency and better performance. Create requirements and work with Management and Development staff to improve our applications and develop new products. May assist with testing and other activities within the IT department.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.

More specifically, the person will:

• Conduct training sessions with customers (external and internal). This training will primarily be conducted remotely but may require on-site visits.
• Provide ongoing training and customer support as needed.
• Create training aids and help guides and assist with system documentation
• Evaluate the current applications and needs. Working with end users, management, and development staff will create developer requirements to fit the business's requirements and needs.
• Drafting functional specifications that provide a detailed description of the system’s functionality, expected outcomes, and technical requirements.
• Work with customers to understand their business processes and needs to better align our products to fulfill those needs.
• Attend a daily 15-minute meeting with the development team
• May assist with testing the application
• The position is primarily onsite but will allow for some remote work.

EDUCATION – EXPERIENCE – COMPUTER SKILLS

• Bachelor’s degree is preferred
• Training experience and ability to help others learn new computer skills
• Must be detailed oriented
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with the any of following tools (or similar) is preferred
  • Jira
  • Sharepoint
  • Draw.io or Visio
  • Penpot
  • Krita, Inkscape
  • Word, Excel, Powerpoint
  • Teams
  • Data Analysis
  • Mongo
  • Experience working with any programming language is a bonus
  • Dispatching/Scheduling software
  • Inventory software
