READY MIX CONCRETE DISPATCHER

Concrete sales and dispatch

Responsibilities

• Receive calls for concrete and construction materials.
• Communicate with vendors through phone and email.
• Dispatch internal drivers with deliveries.
• Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options.
• Calculate, and estimate material required for projects.
• Communicate with customers per material orders and schedule deliveries.
• Schedule loads and ensures items are loaded correctly and safely.

Skills

• Basic mechanical knowledge and skills are needed.
• Ability to handle multiple incoming calls.
• Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
• Strong math skills and knowledge of formulas and tools used to calculate required materials.
• Working knowledge of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
• Experience with sage, excel, and word to preform job functions.
• Experience with supply chain functions.
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills
• A friendly and energetic personality with customer service focus
• Ability to perform under pressure and address complaints in a timely manner
• Availability to work Saturdays
• High school degree or higher.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

• Dispatching: 1 year (Preferred)
