What you'll get to do
Facilitate all phases of the recruitment process. Screen and route resumes, schedule and conduct interviews, recommend qualified candidates, present offers, secure acceptances and conduct background checks.
Collaborate with Department Managers to understand skills and competencies required for all positions.
Collaborate with the Training and Development professional in Corporate HR, as well as on-site management team, to analyze Performance Reviews, identifying individual and group training needs.
Design sourcing strategies. Identify the most efficient and cost-effective recruitment methods.
Manage the requisition process, including creation, posting, and hiring in the Applicant Tracking System (iCIMS)
Handle employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees and supervisors.
Plan and conduct new hire orientation to foster positive attitude toward organizational objectives.
Maintain compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and regulations, and recommends best practices.
Participate in the succession planning process.
Responsible for maintaining the highest level of integrity, professionalism, fairness and confidentiality in all aspects of job performance.
Develop and maintain strong union labor relations by increasing involvement through regular onsite presence, attending monthly union meetings, and addressing labor concerns proactively to support a collaborative work environment.

Qualifications
- BS degree in HR or related degree
- Certification a Plus (SHRM-CP, or PHR)
- 1 to 3 years heavy industrial experience, mining preferred
- Labor relations Exposure
- Recruitment Experience
