What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mining Engineer position at Cement Recruiter?
This position has responsibility for mine planning, permitting (local, state & federal), construction projects, site engineering, and assisting mine management in solving, in the soundest and economic way possible, a wide variety of engineering and mine planning issues as they arise, while ensuring compliance with all regulatory agencies.
Required
Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Mining Engineering
Five years’, minimum, experience in mining
PE or EIT Certification, or ability to obtain within 1 year
- Minimum three years’ experience with permitting submittals, compliance and negotiations with local, state and federal regulatory agencies.
- 3 years project management experience.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of current AutoCAD and Carlson software as well as other industry applicable software.
