Under the general direction of the Plant Manager, the Granite Mining Quarry Production Supervisor will be responsible for coordinating production operating activities and supervision of a granite quarrying operation. The Supervisor is responsible for day-to-day activities with plant personnel to achieve the highest level of production, efficiency, housekeeping, and safety while meeting goals set forth in the business and profit plans.
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Degree in Mining or related field preferred.
3 years supervisory experience in manufacturing, mining, aggregates, lime, or related industry

- Experience in Crushing and Shipping operations.
- Knowledgeable in MSHA regulations and compliance.

- Strong organizational and budgeting skills.
- Understand all components of plant and departmental cost and production.
- Be willing to prepare for future growth potentials within plant and company.
- Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
