Under the direction of the Environmental Manager, the Environmental Specialist conducts required environmental tests, analysis, and observations. Evaluates results and makes recommendations as necessary for maintaining compliance with regulatory agencies.

• Support Environmental Manager to ensure compliance and maintain regulatory records for SPCC, SWPPP, Title V, PCMACT and other environmental regulatory requirements
• Interface independently with environmental inspectors and key plant management, as required by Environmental Manager. Requires ability to handle follow up actions from compliance inspections
• Ability to independently recognize, analyze, and create reports by applying mathematical and physical science principles, concepts, and techniques
• Ability to independently conduct inspections and implement compliance programs at multiple locations
• Must comply with company safety rules and regulations
• Wear proper safety equipment while on plant grounds
• Perform other duties as assigned

• 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related industry
• Bachelors Degree

• Bachelor of Science Degree in related field

• 2-4 years of experience in the field; 5 years preferred

• Normal office environment
• Plant Environment
• Some travel required

• Frequent sitting, standing, and walking.
• Ability to lift and carry 20 lbs
• Ability to climb stairs
