The Project Manager is responsible for the complete oversight of construction projects of various sizes and scopes from beginning to end.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Effectively manage multiple construction projects that are in various stages of completion and locations, including code compliance, project scope definition, preparation of project budgets, coordination of appropriate working documents / specifications, and project close-out based on established Company guidelinesWork collaboratively with and maintain effective communication with vendors to ensure that project scope definition is clearly established and understood for all projectsScheduling of crewsInitiate appropriate project documents and track the progress of each project as related to objectives, approved budgets, and approved timelinesEnsure project costs are aligned with approved budgets, track expenses, approve contractor invoices and change order requestsImplement / coordinate all required change requests, make recommendations, secure approvals, and issue change orders. Assess change request to determine impacts to scope, budget, schedule, quality and riskOther duties as assignedSupervising construction site operationsWork directly with general contractors, site personnel, other subcontractors, and suppliers.Positively respond to sensitive situationsRecruit, coach, and mentor team members for career advancement opportunities. Establish and develop a high performing and scalable teamInstill a high-performance safety culture throughout the business and lead by examplePerform a key role in planning, budgeting, and identification of needed resourcesMaintain adherence to the budgetary guidelines, quality, and safety standardsFacilitate creation of the teams' objectives / goals and individual responsibilitiesMonitor the progress of the construction activities on a regular basis and hold regular status meetings with key operations team membersWork with corporate support teams to improve efficiency, and work processes, and ensure group compliance with corporate policiesCoordinate internal resources and third parties / vendors for the execution of field operationsEnsure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budgetEnsure resource availability and allocationMeasure operational performance using appropriate systems, data, tools, and techniquesReport and escalate to management as needed – Utilize subject matter experts when necessary for the overall success of the businessPerform risk assessments to minimize operation risksKNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES
Ability to travel to job sites, attend meetings and functions outside of typical business hoursTeam player with operations, sales, estimators, and company administrationSelf-starter with the ability to set goals and tasksStrong leadership skillsGood client management and relationship-building abilityTactful and mature demeanor with well-developed interpersonal skills, including the ability to work well with diverse personalitiesEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or Equivalent and 4 years of Project Management Experience ~or~Associate's degree in construction or related field and 3 Years of Project Management Experience ~or~Bachelor's degree in construction or related field and 2 years of Project Management Experience3 Years of Construction ExperienceSupervisory Experience (Preferred)Bilingual : Spanish (Preferred)PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORKING CONDITIONS
Work in a mostly field environmentExposed to various weather elements, including rain and extreme hot and coldThere were multiple amounts of standing, kneeling, climbing, bending, lifting, and carrying up to 50 pounds.Safely perform work with appropriate safety gear when neededWill require travel based on project needsCompany Description
