What You’ll Do:
The TA/HR Coordinator provides support to the HR team focusing on hiring and recruiting functions and receiving incoming HR calls and inquiries. This position will handle all aspects of the pre-employment process including, but not limited to scheduling and tracking of physicals, drug screens and background checks and establishing new clinic operations across the U.S. and settling clinic billing. This position will also serve as support to the Talent Acquisition Specialists in recruiting and onboarding of new hires. This role also includes supporting the entire HR organization by taking and directing incoming phone calls, resetting Workday passwords, and billing.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all pre-employment activities serving as the primary contact; ensure all steps in the pre-employment background check process are completed. Follow up with candidates to ensure all documents are received that are required for new hires, notify new hire and manager when all contingencies are satisfied. Send rejection letters to candidates that do not meet pre-employment contingencies. Update managers at the end of each week on pre-employment status.
- Accurately schedule pre-employment physicals, drug testing and background checks according to job requirements. Ensure proper DOT checks are in place as needed based upon the position of the new hire. Identify and collaborate with TA/HR to ensure clinic locations are available to offer the appropriate pre-employment testing including chain of custodies as required.
- Facilitate new hire onboarding in Workday and upload necessary documents. Initiate HR Checklists to ensure all documents and processes are completed as required to ensure data integrity. Create onboarding folders as needed. Request employees to be hired into Workday and receive log-in and password information. Complete the I-9 verification process. Conduct final compliance audit of all onboarding documents for completion and accuracy.
- Assist with Careers email box, ensuring appropriate action is taken when requests for information are received, forward candidates on to TA Specialists or HR for review and action.
- Schedule follow up new hire check-ins with newly hired employees.
- Responsible for preparing weekly Ready-Mix Driver Recruiting report and Jobs Listing, communication of candidate onboarding status to hiring leaders.
- Remain current with all scanning and data entry within the HRIS Systems (Workday and OnBase).
- Answer and respond to HR related phone calls in a timely and professional manner
- Provide accurate information and assistance to employees regarding HR policies, procedures and benefits
- Document and track all inquiries and resolutions
- Process HR and pre-employment bills.
- Escalate complex issues to the appropriate HR team members or departments.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree Preferred
- Strong organizational skills
- Proven analytical, strategic/critical thinking and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- Self-motivated with demonstrated ability to make appropriate decisions working within established guidelines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to multi-task in an accurate and timely manner.
- Possess ability to effectively conceptualize, plan and organize.
- Must be able to read, write and speak English.
Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour
