Position Summary
The Talent Acquisition Coordinator is a key contributor to CenCal Health’s Talent Acquisition team, providing essential support throughout the full-cycle recruitment process. This role collaborates closely with Talent Acquisition Partners and the Talent Acquisition Manager to create a smooth and efficient hiring experience for both candidates and hiring managers.
While primarily remote, this position requires occasional on-site presence at our Santa Barbara office for interview coordination and participation in community-based job fairs. We are open to candidates residing in San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, and Ventura counties.
Key Responsibilities
- Candidate Sourcing & Screening:
- Proactively source qualified candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, and other recruiting channels.
- Conduct initial resume reviews and pre-screening assessments or coordinate pre-screen calls with a recruiter.
- Interview Coordination:
- Schedule interviews, including phone screens, virtual interviews, and in-person meetings, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
- Coordinate with hiring managers to align schedules and logistics.
- Candidate Management & Administrative Support:
- Maintain and update candidate statuses daily in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
- Manage job requisition creation and postings across various platforms.
- Attend and take notes during intake meetings to support hiring strategy development.
- Prepare recruitment-related reports and documentation as needed.
- Provide administrative support, including scheduling team meetings and compiling recruitment metrics.
- Recruitment Ownership:
- Take ownership of a limited number of job requisitions as assigned, managing them from sourcing to offer.
- Work with the Talent Acquisition team to ensure roles are filled efficiently while maintaining high-quality hiring standards.
- Collaboration & Process Improvement:
- Work closely with the Talent Acquisition team to enhance recruiting processes and provide recommendations for efficiency improvements.
- Assist with recruitment marketing initiatives and employer branding efforts as needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Prior sourcing experience is required.
- Healthcare recruiting experience is highly desired.
- 1 year of experience in recruitment, HR, or a related administrative role preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and applicant tracking systems (ATS) experience is a plus.
- High attention to detail and commitment to a positive candidate experience.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Pay: $28.00 - $33.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
