We are currently seeking a highly motivated and qualified Access Control Officer with a Top-Secret security clearance with Polygraph to join our dedicated team.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a diligent and professional Cleared Unarmed Security Officer to join our team in Maryland. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing top-notch security services, ensuring the safety and security of assets, property, personnel, and visitors, while maintaining the highest levels of confidentiality.

Responsibilities:

• Patrol designated areas in a timely and professional manner.
• Report suspicious activities, hazards, and any security breaches.
• Monitor access to the facility, ensuring only authorized individuals gain entry.
• Provide information and assistance to staff and visitors as needed.
• Maintain logs and write detailed incident reports.
• Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies.
• Cooperate with local law enforcement agencies when required.
• Attend regular training sessions and stay up to date with the latest security protocols.
• Handle security issues with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

• Top-Secret security clearance with Polygraph.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional relevant security certifications or training is a plus.
• Proven experience as a Security Officer or in a related security role.
• In-depth knowledge of physical security protocols, and security technologies.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise security procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with personnel, visitors, and clients professionally.
• Ability to work independently, make decisions under pressure, and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Physical fitness that requires the ability to perform periodic patrols and standing for extended periods outdoors.
• Strong ethics, integrity, and commitment to maintaining a secure and confidential environment.
