Job Description

Job Overview : We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Security Assurance Manager to lead the development and implementation of a new security assurance program from inception to production. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our organization's security protocols are compliant with contractual obligations and organizational expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Represent CenCore’s core values of excellence, resilience, and service
Drive the development and implementation of a comprehensive security assurance program that meets or exceeds organizational expectations
Analyze programmatic initiatives and requirements to identify and generate potential compliance-driven security assurance tasks
Collaborate with stakeholders to develop new security assurance tasks, often taking broad ideas and turning them into specific quantifiable tasks
Work independently to formalize tasks within a replicable template for automating all security assurance tasks in production
Utilize project management skills and methodologies to track and report on efforts
Assist with support of existing systems and / or business requests
Identify gaps and propose solutions to increase security efficiency and effectiveness
Support development of testing and evaluation plans
Present new tasks to client leadership for approval in a concise and easily digestible polished presentation
Multitask parallel initiatives and manage various rhythm of business tasks towards a common successful outcome
Coordinate with the Director of Program Protection, under the direction of the Program Protection Lead
Conduct other special projects as directed

Job RequirementsQualifications

Minimum of 18 years of age

High School diploma or GED. Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.

Ability to work in an MS Windows-based operating environment, including proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Minimum of 5 years of experience in security assurance, project management, or a related field. Proven experience in managing large-scale projects from start to finish.

Preferred Skills

Excellent program management skills, to include leading and managing the program lifecycle from planning and initiation through execution

Keen attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem solving

Excellent verbal and written communication skills and an ability to effectively communicate with executive leadership and engage stakeholders across various departments to ensure alignment

Impeccable customer service skills

Ability to interpret complex and detailed documents to ensure all rules and procedures are being applied

Ability to manage multiple tasks or projects with competing deadlines and priorities

Work independently with little direction while also being able to collaborate with others

Proficiency in SharePoint and Power Automate

Experience conducting thorough risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and potential threats

Experience defining key performance indicators (KPIs), generating regular reports, and using data-driven insights to make informed decisions
