Responsibilities
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies that enhance operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with production planning teams to ensure alignment between supply and demand.
- Utilize MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems to manage inventory control effectively.
- Forecast demand accurately to minimize excess inventory while ensuring product availability.
- Analyze supply chain data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Support lean manufacturing initiatives to streamline processes and reduce waste.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Facilitate communication between departments to ensure smooth operations across the supply chain.
Experience
- Proven experience in supply chain management or related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with SAP or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is essential.
- Strong knowledge of production planning methodologies and inventory control practices.
- Experience with lean manufacturing principles is a plus.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions based on forecasts and trends.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
