ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Responsible for ensuring all counselor tasks are completed to meet state licensure
requirements and regulatory requirements, including CARF, DSHS, as well as other
program requirements.
2. Oversee outpatient counselors and ensure clinical caseloads comply with licensure
standards and that counselors maintain at least 70% client productivity through
service delivery.
3. Ensure documentation is entered into the electronic health record and deadlines for
completion is met consistently. Ensure documentation meets the criteria for
appropriate level of care according to clinical funding and billing.
4. Ensure outpatient counselors remain informed of policy and regulatory changes and
monitor program curriculum and fidelity.
5. Intervene as necessary on issues relating to client complaints and concerns.
6. Hold quality assurance meetings ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate.
7. Provide supervision of outpatient counselors to meet and report program goals and
maintain client census and billings.
8. Monitor authorizations and timeframes to ensure staff are providing treatment
according to billing/insurance requirements in accordance with processes
established by the Director of Insurance Billing and Payor relations.
9. Prepare administrative reports and upkeep program information databases.
10. Work with Senior Director and Human Resource Department for staffing, training,
employee relations issues and performance evaluations to ensure compliance with
Foundation policies and all local, state and federal laws.
11. Uphold the core principles of Cenikor's culture and create a positive working
environment for all team members.
12. Ensure completion of Big 5 performance management tool by the required deadlines
and use of SMART goals to support annual performance compensation review.
13. Maintain compliance with federal and state regulatory standards as well as Cenikor
policies and procedures.
14. Maintain strict confidentiality on all client and foundation matters and refer
questionable issues to your supervisor.
15. Perform additional duties as assigned and consistent with the exempt functions as
defined in this job description.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE POSITION:
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
? Working knowledge of chemical dependency treatment, prevention,
aftercare, adolescent development, and family dynamics required.
? Possesses good time management skills needed to meet aggressive deadlines
and prioritize multiple tasks.
? Knowledgeable of best practices of outpatient counseling.
? Possesses good time management skills needed to meet aggressive deadlines

? Experienced and capable of identifying appropriate resources for client
development and providing substance abuse counseling.
? Possesses good verbal and written communication skills.
? Capable of discerning facts from opinions and remaining objective when
listening to conflicting opinions.
? Experienced in working with diverse population.
? Knowledge of Microsoft Office software required, including MS Outlook calendar.

Education:
? Associate's degree required
? Master's degree preferred
Experience:
? Two (2) years of substance abuse treatment experience preferred
? Clinical experience with children and families preferred.
? Administrative, supervision and program development experience preferred.
Licensure Required:
? LCDC required
? LPC, LMSW or LCSW preferred
