What are the responsibilities and job description for the Foreclosure Specialist I position at Cenlar?
The Foreclosure Specialists are responsible for managing a pipeline of loans in various states from foreclosure referral to sale. These positions may perform various state specific or functionalized processes to achieve a complete foreclosure and could include high level research, analysis of risk, and effective business decisions.
Responsibilities :
- Accurately updates systems, such as Director (fka Black Knight MSP), LoanSphere FC (fka LPS Desktop PM) to insure controls are met and procedures are followed
- Manages a pipeline of loans driving foreclosures from referral to sale on a timely basis.
- Reviews all vendor / client request and partners to meet their needs to further the foreclosure action
- Works various processes by reports from BKFS or supplied by management, using MS Excel, in a timely manner and while considering priority
- Organizes a day of multiple task, reports, and processes to insure you execute against the highest priority of items.
- Completes various checklists and certifications with accuracy to insure all procedures are followed
- With great attention to detail, prepares bids for foreclosure sale, reinstatement figures, payoff figures, and financial breakdowns
- Attends phone conferences for various clients or firms as needed
- Using loan level research, proposes or makes effective business decisions while considering multiple risk factors from regulators, customers, clients, and Cenlar
- Completes other duties and projects as assigned by management
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, include but not limited to compliance and operational risk. Demonstrate consideration for Cenlar's reputation as well as our clients, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards
