Accounts Receivable Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing incoming payments, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring timely collections from clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a customer-focused mindset, enabling them to effectively negotiate payment terms and resolve any discrepancies.

Responsibilities

• Analyze accounts receivable data.
• Communicate with clients regarding outstanding invoices and payment arrangements, demonstrating excellent customer service skills.
• Negotiate payment terms with clients when necessary to facilitate timely collections.
• Respond to client inquiries via phone or email with professionalism and effective phone etiquette.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve billing discrepancies and ensure accurate account management.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports as needed.

Requirements

• Proven experience in an accounts receivable or similar role is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data effectively.
• Excellent math skills for accurate calculations and reconciliations.
• Exceptional customer service skills, with a focus on building positive relationships with clients.
• Ability to negotiate effectively while maintaining professionalism.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple accounts efficiently.
