Possible placement includes : Reliability Engineering (Mechanical)Project Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical)Note : The application deadline for this position is March 14th, 2025.What you'll do Responsibilities may vary depending on the specific position assigned, but they may include : Reliability Engineering (Rotating and Fixed Equipment)Assist with joint torquing programAssist with planning for 2028 Refinery Turn AroundHelp with smaller maintenance projects and capital projectsAssist the Engineers in the fieldData collection, update data sheets, print creation, and reviewParticipate in Preventative Maintenance Program work such as PM updatesParticipate in the Predictive Maintenance Program work such as vibration analysis, lubrication programProject EngineeringAssist project engineers and other discipline engineers to ensure consistency in the execution of project management activitiesHelp create and scope out potential projects to improve outputHelp to coordinate civil engineering and design projects through execution, planning, and interface stagesEnsure that activities are completed on schedule and within budgetAssist the refinery operations to understand performance and production dataWho you are Our ideal candidate will have the following minimum qualifications : Legally authorized to work in the U.S. full-time for the duration of your work term and able to produce documentation upon request (e.g. passport, Social Security, etc.)Available to begin work on or around September 8th, 2025As this position requires the operation of a motor vehicle, a valid U.S. driver's license is requiredPrevious experience is considered an assetStrong attitude for carrying out all work in a safe, cautious manner while following safe work practicesStrong verbal and written communication skillsWe acknowledge the value of transferrable skills and may consider equivalent combinations of experience and education should you not meet a specific requirement. Education Must be enrolled in an Undergraduate Program studying Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related disciplines at an accredited post-secondary institution at the time of intended work term and returning to full-time studies after the work term OR registered in an accredited post-secondary co-op or internship program for the duration of the work termCandidates currently enrolled in either a Masters or Ph.D. program at an accredited post-secondary institution may also be consideredNew graduates are not eligible for student opportunitiesWorking ConditionsMay include frequency of travel, sitting, standing, computer work, lifting, driving, working at site, etc. Safety SensitiveThis may be a safety-sensitive role, and you will be required to wear all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) during required work hours.
