Cenovus is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our legal department in Dublin, Ohio. This role involves a variety of tasks, including creating and maintaining spreadsheets, managing files, drafting and editing correspondence, processing invoices, and coordinating travel and expenses. The ideal candidate will also support the team by organizing meetings, seminars, and conferences, ensuring the smooth operation of daily administrative functions.

Internal candidates that are currently in a lower grade will be assessed based on their sustained job performance, how they demonstrate the expected organizational competency behaviors and values and in discussions with their current leader prior to determining next steps.

Cenovus is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our legal department in Dublin, Ohio. This role involves a variety of tasks, including creating and maintaining spreadsheets, managing files, drafting and editing correspondence, processing invoices, and coordinating travel and expenses. The ideal candidate will also support the team by organizing meetings, seminars, and conferences, ensuring the smooth operation of daily administrative functions.
What you’ll do:
- Provide U.S. Legal Department with important information / updates (Helix), and manage mail distribution for the legal department and miscellaneous office mail.
- Process expense reports, and receive, process and record all incoming accounts payable legal invoices, which includes communications with external law firms, internal accounts payable department, and legal department lawyers.
- Compare requested documents for redlining purposes and assist with reviewing and preparing finalized documents.
- Maintain document filings and record keeping (electronic and physical)
- Process association membership renewals and registrations for legal department.
- Maintain calendars, schedule meetings, prepare meeting rooms, and handle travel bookings for attorneys, as well as backfill for legal and other office support as needed.
- Legally authorized to work in the US.
- Word processing and Excel experience.
- Relevant experience required.
