About this opportunity:
The Manager, Operations Project Integration role acts as a liaison between major projects and the site ensuring the right people resources connect and collaborate between operations, maintenance, tech services, construction and project engineers. This position is a subject matter expert who provides expertise, technical knowledge and people contacts at site. A key accountability of this role is to ensure proper input into FEED and design phases to reduce rework in the latter stages of projects.

What you’ll do:
Act as single point of contact (SPOC) for the major projects team at site
Represent operations through all phases of major project development and execution
Provide operational input into projects during FEED and detailed design phases
Participate in and ensure appropriate site SME involvement for P&ID reviews, project feed studies, Hazops, model and technical reviews
Engage refinery management, technical, operations and maintenance personnel throughout projects to ensure an integrated approach to decision making
Facilitate the integration of commissioning and turnover strategies for projects
Assist the project construction team with SIMOPS during phase 4
Participate in the ready for operations and ready for maintenance tasks required for startup
Ensure operating and maintenance procedures are in place, training completed, ready for start-up
Engage with subject matter experts to support projects to ensure standard processes are followed and proper equipment is selected in support of the reliability objective of “Design Right”
Ensure human factors are considered during project development from an operations perspective
Collaborate with the Downstream Operations Advisory and Integration team to ensure Operational Readiness best practices are employed throughout all project stages
Create resource plan for all RFO accountabilities
Act as lead site delegate for decision record input and sign-off where appropriate
Who you are:
10 years of experience in Downstream operations in various roles including leadership
Applicable certification in operations, maintenance or engineering
Advanced leadership skills, ability to lead and influence project supporting functions
Proven ability to work well on cross functional teams and independently without supervision
Effective facilitation skills
