Position Summary

The Senior Financial Analyst is a key member of the Finance department, reporting directly to the Manager of Financial Reporting and Analysis. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams while leading and supporting annual planning, monthly forecasting and financial reporting processes, providing in-depth analysis and key insights, and supporting strategic initiatives. The Senior Analyst will drive accuracy and provide detailed insights into financial trends, performance, and operational efficiency. The role requires strong business partnership with the leadership team to enhance decision-making and strategic planning.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial forecasts, reports and data insights.
  • Develop financial models and perform variance analysis to identify discrepancies and forecast future trends.
  • Provide in-depth analytical support for strategic decisions including mergers, acquisitions, and partnerships.
  • Conduct scenario modeling to assist leadership in making informed decisions.
  • Implement and leverage advanced data analytics tools like Power BI to create and maintain insightful financial reports and dashboards, and improve automation and efficiency of reporting activities.
  • Analyze sales funnel data to support revenue forecasting and strategic sales planning.
  • Engage actively in business partnership with the leadership team to align financial strategies with organizational goals.
  • Drive the advancement of business analytics through close collaboration with the leadership team, applying statistical techniques and predictive modeling to enhance business insights and aid in strategic decision-making.
  • Enhance financial reporting procedures to improve efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
  • Recommend and implement new technologies for better financial management.

Qualifications

Education, Experience & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field required.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in financial analysis, reporting, or a similar role, with a proven track record in finance management.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and financial software like Power BI.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, Salesforce.com and BI tools highly desirable.
  • Outstanding analytical, problem-solving, and data management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills to clearly convey complex data.
  • Demonstrated experience in a SaaS environment and familiarity with ASC 606 preferred.

Pay Range

The salary range for this position (in local currency) is 71,100.00 - 132,100.00
