Specific Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial forecasts, reports and data insights.
- Develop financial models and perform variance analysis to identify discrepancies and forecast future trends.
- Provide in-depth analytical support for strategic decisions including mergers, acquisitions, and partnerships.
- Conduct scenario modeling to assist leadership in making informed decisions.
- Implement and leverage advanced data analytics tools like Power BI to create and maintain insightful financial reports and dashboards, and improve automation and efficiency of reporting activities.
- Analyze sales funnel data to support revenue forecasting and strategic sales planning.
- Engage actively in business partnership with the leadership team to align financial strategies with organizational goals.
- Drive the advancement of business analytics through close collaboration with the leadership team, applying statistical techniques and predictive modeling to enhance business insights and aid in strategic decision-making.
- Enhance financial reporting procedures to improve efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
- Recommend and implement new technologies for better financial management.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with various departments and influence financial strategies.
Education, Experience & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field required.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in financial analysis, reporting, or a similar role, with a proven track record in finance management.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and financial software like Power BI.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, Salesforce.com and BI tools highly desirable.
- Outstanding analytical, problem-solving, and data management skills.
- Excellent communication skills to clearly convey complex data.
- Demonstrated experience in a SaaS environment and familiarity with ASC 606 preferred.
