Hotel Security Officer 3rd Shift

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, including monitoring premises, preventing loss, and responding to incidents effectively. The Security Officer will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of all individuals on the property.

Duties

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
• Implement loss prevention strategies to safeguard assets and property.
• Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies, providing first aid or CPR as necessary.
• Conduct regular inspections of buildings and grounds to ensure safety and security measures are in place.
• Manage conflicts effectively using conflict management skills to de-escalate situations.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary and provide assistance during investigations.
• Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities for record-keeping purposes.

Experience
Candidates should possess relevant experience in security or law enforcement. Preferred qualifications include:

• Certification in CPR and First Aid.
• Proven skills in conflict management and the ability to handle difficult situations calmly.
• A background in military or law enforcement is advantageous but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
