Join Our Team as a Product Management Superstar!
Are you an insurance whiz with a knack for guiding products through their lifecycle? We're looking for a dynamic professional to lead our efforts in a state or territory and drive profitable growth. You'll be at the forefront of innovation, managing and executing changes to our rates, rules, and forms to outshine our competitors. Plus, you'll make key recommendations on coverage, pricing, and business strategies to our underwriting, claims, finance, and senior management teams. Reporting to the Director of Product Management, you'll play a pivotal role in bringing Lilypad's vision to life by delivering top-notch product solutions to our customers.
What You'll Do:
- Drive Growth: Propel profitable growth in your managed states/territories by understanding markets, loss trends, and regulatory requirements.
- Innovate Products: Develop, implement, monitor, and recommend changes to our personal property insurance products.
- Analyze & Optimize: Dive into product performance metrics (loss ratio, frequency, severity, hit ratio, retention, etc.) and make impactful changes.
- Collaborate: Partner with actuarial teams on rate selection and execute filings for rates, rules, and forms.
- Stay Ahead: Keep an eye on the competitive landscape by gathering intelligence from marketing and our agents, and analyzing competitor rate changes.
- Ensure Compliance: Navigate regulations and work with regulatory entities to secure filing approvals.
- Lead the Way: Guide and support Business Analyst and IT resources to deliver product changes accurately and on time.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience: 2 years in property & casualty product management and 5 years in property & casualty insurance.
- Analytical Skills: Strong quantitative analysis capabilities and experience with large datasets.
- Leadership: Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Team Player: Experience in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with shared resources.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in insurance, actuarial sciences, finance, business, or a related field.
- Bonus Points: CPCU, actuarial exams, or other related insurance coursework.
