Proposal Unit Coordinator

Position Purpose: Support the development, production, and submission of all proposals and related content for health plans. ***The Proposal Unit Coordinator is primarily remote with ocassional travel to Brentwood, MO. Candidates will be considered nationally but, they must be willing to travel to Brentwood when needed.*** Responsibilities: Create, plan, support, and implement an efficient proposal production process to guarantee a quality proposal based on analysis of production requirements specific to each RFP Design format, and copy edit documents for complex response development including RFPs, RFIs, using Adobe Acrobat, Illustrator, Word, Excel, Visio, Publisher and PowerPoint Create and populate templates with specific bid response information including questions and formatting requirements Coordinate with internal and external print vendors, graphic artists, media and informational vendors on requests Ability to research, articulate and present strict legal and compliance RFP requirements to the project team Ensure consistency and compliance throughout the proposal lifecycle Maintain RFP response library Create graphic design elements using Adobe Illustrator and other Microsoft design programs Monitor State and various customer websites for potential business opportunities Recommend quality improvement opportunities for efficiencies Performs other duties as assigned Complies with all policies and standards Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, related field, or equivalent experience. 1 years of experience in coordinating and project management for Request for Proposal (RFP) responses. Experience in the health care industry preferred. Writing experience in a health care, marketing or public relations role preferred. Experience with Microsoft Office applications, Adobe Professional, Excel, Word, Visio and Publisher, and Powerpoint. Graphic Design experience using Adobe Illustrator. Pay Range: $55,100.00 - $99,000.00 per year Centene offers a comprehensive benefits package including: competitive pay, health insurance, 401K and stock purchase plans, tuition reimbursement, paid time off plus holidays, and a flexible approach to work with remote, hybrid, field or office work schedules. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law. Total compensation may also include additional forms of incentives.
