Job Description
Centennial Lending is a growing organization and is recruiting for an entry level Loan Servicer. This position is responsible for day to day duties of the servicing department. Training and daily work will be performed onsite at our Firestone, CO location.
Job Duties
One or more of the following:
- Investor reporting
- Applying payments and payoffs
- Release of mortgages and/or deeds of trust
- Maintaining escrow accounts by tracking and paying taxes, insurance, etc.
- Performing escrow analysis on each loan
- Document follow up
- QC of files going into servicing
- Set up of new servicing only loans
- Filing of documents
- Provide good customer service with members and credit unions
- Assists with construction loan draw requests
- Assists with post loan closing duties
- Assist with month end tasks
- Scan incoming checks
- Initiate Wire transfers
- Initiate ACH transfers
- Other job duties as assigned
Qualification and Education Requirements
- Required: High School diploma
- Preferred: A minimum of 2 years of experience in the financial industry
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge in the use of personal computers, word processing, email, spreadsheets and other related applications
- Must be self-motivated and work independently to manage workflow, deadlines, and reporting
- Ability to effectively and professionally communicate verbally and in writing
- Respond professionally and resolve inquiries and complaints in a timely manner
- Concurrently manage multiple time sensitive projects and duties
- Define problems, collect data, and resolve issues
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common, technical, and industry specific documents
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations impacting the servicing of all loan types
- Bilingual a plus
